Comments let you add notes directly onto a transcript without changing the original text. Use them to highlight key moments, flag follow-ups, correct a mistake, ask a question, or loop in a teammate — right at the point in the conversation they relate to. Every comment is automatically time-stamped to that moment in the recording, so anyone reading it later can jump straight to the right spot.
• Adding a comment
Open the recording's transcript.
Highlight the text you want to comment on.
Click Comment in the toolbar that appears.
Type your comment and click Post.
Your comment appears under the Comments tab, and the highlighted text stays marked in the transcript so it's easy to find again.
Click the comment's timestamp to jump straight to that moment in the recording, and hover over the highlighted line in the transcript to preview the comment.
• Mentioning a teammate
To bring someone else into the conversation, type @ followed by their name while writing your comment, then select them from the list. They'll be notified and can reply directly in the comment thread.
Note: Once a comment is posted, it cannot be edited. You can delete it and write a new one if needed.
• Adding Visual Highlights
Sometimes it's easier to point at something on the screen than to describe it in words. Visual highlights let you mark a specific spot in the video itself, on top of highlighting the text.
Highlight the text as usual, then click Comment, and then find the paintbrush icon in the toolbar.
A blue rectangle appears over the video. Drag its edges to resize it, or drag the box itself to move it over the part of the screen you want to point out.
Later, clicking that comment jumps the video to that exact moment and automatically shows the highlighted area, so whoever's reviewing it sees exactly what you meant.
