Workspace settings overview

The General settings page lets workspace admins control branding, access permissions, recording behavior, and bot configuration. Here's what each option does.

Workspace identity

Workspace logo

Upload a logo that represents your workspace. Recommended size is 256×256px. This appears in the workspace switcher and shared views.

Workspace name

The display name for your workspace, visible to all members.

Members & Access

Allow anyone with @bluedothq.com to join

When enabled, anyone with a verified email from your domain can join the workspace without an explicit invite.

Prevent non-admins from adding people

Restricts member invitations to admins only. Useful for keeping tighter control over who joins the workspace.

Permissions & Sharing

Prevent non-admins from downloading recordings

Members can still watch recordings in the app, but the download option is hidden. Admins are unaffected.

Prevent non-admins from sharing externally

Members can only share recordings with people inside the workspace. External sharing links are disabled for non-admins

Prevent recording without a consent message

When enabled, starting a recording automatically sends a consent message to the meeting chat, notifying all participants. (Only available for the Chrome extension.)

Meeting Defaults

Enforce a recording type for all meetings

Forces all workspace meetings to use a specific recording format. When enabled, a format selector appears below this toggle to set the default.

Meeting Bot

Allow only one bot per meeting

Prevents multiple Bluedot bots from joining the same meeting at once. Recommended to avoid duplicate transcripts and participant confusion.

⛔️The Delete workspace button at the bottom of the page permanently removes the workspace and all its data. This action cannot be undone.
