Once you pick up the pace with Bluedot and start recording more and more meetings, manually moving recordings between collections can get rather time-consuming.
That is why we have implemented the advanced sorting feature.
This is how you make the most out of it:
Go to your Workplace settings, and then proceed to Auto-sorting:
2. Now you need to create the rules for the sorting. You can define a word which is either contained in the title or is the whole title and then pick which collection you want it to go to, for example:
The recording will automatically be saved there.
Note: At the moment, auto-sort only works on a user-level, it does not apply to the whole workspace.
💡 Tip: Order your keywords from most specific to most general
If you have keywords where one contains the other — for example, "Planning Meetings" and "Planning" — make sure to add the more specific keyword first.
Adding the broader keyword (e.g., "Planning") first can trigger a "Duplicate keywords are not allowed" error, even though the two keywords are technically different.
To avoid this:
✅ Add "Planning Meetings" (specific) → then "Planning" (broad)
❌ Don't add "Planning" (broad) first — this may cause a conflict
Simply reordering your rules resolves the issue.
Hope this made it easier, and thank you for using Bluedot! 🔵
