Updated over 2 weeks ago

With Bluedot, you can tailor AI-generated summaries to match your specific workflow using custom templates. Whether you're in sales, HR, or any other industry, this feature helps ensure that AI outputs are structured exactly the way you need them.

Follow this step-by-step guide to create your own.

Step-by-Step: Creating a Custom Template

  1. Navigate to the Automation Section
Go to the Automation section within the Bluedot dashboard:

  2. Open Notes Templates
Click on “Notes Templates”, then select “Add Template”.

  3. Name Your Template
Give your template a clear, descriptive name.
Example: SPIN Selling – ideal for structuring sales calls using the SPIN methodology. (This is the first example we will use, the guide will cover more notes templates later.)

  4. Choose an AI Model
    Select your preferred AI model:

    • Claude (preferred in the example)

    • GPT-4

Choose based on your preferred style or model performance.

5. Write Your Prompt
This is the core of your template.

It guides the AI on how to process and format the information.
