Meeting bot: Yes. Invite the Bluedot bot to your meeting and you can close your laptop — the bot keeps recording independently. See this guide.
Transcript processing: Yes. Once a meeting ends, transcript processing happens in the background, so it's safe to close your laptop while it finishes.
Browser extension: No. Extension recordings run in your browser, so your laptop needs to stay open and awake for the whole meeting.
Desktop app: No. The desktop app is recording the contents of your desktop.
