If you are recording your entire screen, a Zoom or a Teams meeting from desktop-versions on a Mac, make sure you are not using headphones.
There is a minor limitation of the system which does not allow the sound to be recorded in case you are wearing headphones.
Alternatively, you can record a Teams/Zoom meeting from the browser, or invite a meeting bot.
