This applies when you're recording with the Bluedot browser extension. If you're recording your entire screen during a Zoom, Teams, or other desktop meeting on Mac — especially if you're wearing headphones — you'll need to share your system audio to make sure participants' voices are captured in the recording.
Make sure Chrome is up to date. System audio capture requires Chrome 141.0.7390.55 or later (as of October 2025).
Start your recording with the browser extension.
In the screen share picker, stay on the Entire Screen tab, toggle on Also share system audio, and click Share.
That's it — participants' audio will now be captured in your recording.
