Due to the size of most recordings, the default download format is WebM. However, there is a simple workaround available.
If you need to get a recording in .mp4 and do not want to use an online converter, you can make a minor change in your recording by using our Edit feature, and then you'll be able to download it in .mp4.
• Step 1: Navigate to the Edit feature.
Find a recording you need to save in .mp4.
Click on the three dots indicating the settings.
Click Edit recording:
• Step 2: Make a minor change in your recording
Make a minor change in the recording, which will not affect the content.
In my example, I deleted the word *but* from one line:
• Step 3: Save the recording.
Click on the Save button in the upper-right corner of the screen.
• Step 4: Download the recording.
Open the recording and click on the three dots on the right side of the screen. Select Download recording.
It might take some time for the recording to be generated, depending on the size of your recording.
Locate the settings in the lower right corner by clicking on the three dots.
Select Download:
