Why edit the transcript

While Bluedot’s AI provides highly accurate transcripts, there are a few reasons why you might want to make manual edits.

  • Fixing Minor Errors:
Even with 98% accuracy, names, technical terms, or accents might cause occasional misinterpretations.

  • Cleaning Up Filler Words or Repetition:
You might want to remove "um," "like," or repeated phrases to improve readability—especially if sharing notes with others.

  • Clarifying Context:
Add missing context, clarify who said what, or adjust phrasing for better understanding.

  • Tailoring for Sharing:
When sending transcripts to clients, colleagues, or stakeholders, you may want to polish the text to reflect professionalism.

  • Removing Sensitive Information:
You may want to redact private details or off-topic conversations before sharing or storing transcripts.

That is why we have created the editing tool, that you can find in your recording.
