Automatic Speaker Recognition

This article will help you get familiar with Bluedot's Speker Recognition feature.

Updated over a month ago

Bluedot supports automatic speaker recognition across all your meetings, both Bluedot recordings and uploaded audio or video files. This feature helps you see who said what in your transcripts without having to manually label speakers.

This guide will show you how that looks like across Google Meet and other platforms.

For Google Meet

If you run your meetings through Google Meet, Bluedot will automatically fetch speakers' names and show them in the transcript:

For Other Platforms

For other platforms, Bluedot’s machine learning–based speaker recognition identifies and labels speakers automatically. To get the most accurate results:

  • Make sure each participant mentions their name at least once during the meeting.

  • Avoid talking over each other when possible.

  • If you upload a file, Bluedot will analyze the audio and assign consistent speaker labels throughout the transcript.

We hope this feature makes recording smoother. Thank you for using Bluedot. 🔵
