Anyone with a shareable link can normally open a recording. If you want an extra layer of control — for example, when sharing outside your workspace — you can require a password before the link will open.
Adding a Password to a Shared Link
Open the recording and click Share.
In the Share panel, click Add password, next to the Share from checkbox.
Enter a password, then enter it again to confirm.
Click Apply. The button now shows a green Password protected badge, confirming the link requires a password to view.
Click Copy link at the top of the Share panel to grab the link. You'll need to share the password with your recipient separately — it isn't included in the link itself.
What Recipients See
When someone opens a password-protected link, they land on a "This recording is protected" screen and are asked to enter the password. Once they enter it and click Unlock recording, they're taken straight to the recording.
