What should I do if Bluedot didn't record my voice?

First, you need to check your recording. If you notice that only your voice wasn’t recorded during the meeting, it means you selected the wrong microphone.

Here is a quick guide to check Bluedot extension settings:

  1. Open Bluedot Extension: Start by launching the Bluedot extension in your browser.

  2. Check Microphone Settings: Ensure the correct microphone is selected.


    If no microphones are available, here's what you can do:

Close and Reopen the Browser:

  • Sometimes the issue can be resolved by simply restarting the browser. Close all tabs, reopen the browser, and try again.

Reinstall the Extension:

  • If you're using an extension that manages audio or microphones try uninstalling and reinstalling it.

Check Permission Settings:

  • Ensure the browser or application has permission to access your microphone.

  • Go to your device's settings and verify microphone permissions for the app you're using. Go to chrome://settings/content/microphone

  • In the browser, click the lock icon near the URL and check if the microphone is blocked or allowed.
